How it started

I came to Ritually Rooted sick and searching for hope.

At that point, I had decided I would have to learn how to heal myself — because so far, no one else could help me. And honestly, I didn’t trust anyone anymore. In fact, much of what I tried actually made me sicker.

When my body stopped cooperating

My feet and legs swelled so badly I couldn’t wear shoes. I couldn’t even keep water down. I contracted C. diff twice. I spent time hospitalized, on a liquids-only diet, still gaining weight — which I later learned was inflammation — and in so much pain that even moving was difficult.

My body was completely worn down. I was sleeping more hours than I was awake. And if you know me, I’m a do-er. I love learning, creating, making things happen. But I couldn’t remember things, let alone do anything.

The moment that changed everything

Eventually, I developed a pinched nerve in my shoulder, which led me to a chiropractor who was the first person to name the autoimmune condition my body was experiencing. That moment opened my world to holistic health.

Before that, I only knew the trendy surface-level stuff — nothing deeper. I had trusted our current system wholeheartedly.

Looking back, I can see that immune issues had been present my whole life — eczema, frequent infections, even a stomach surgery — but nothing that disrupted my day-to-day life in a major way.

Then after a major health event I went through out of fear, my symptoms escalated dramatically — and my body has never been the same since.

Hope returned—one step at a time

Learning holistic health while being that sick was incredibly hard. But slowly, it made enough of a difference. I began losing inflammation weight. My pain lowered. I stopped sleeping my life away.

Through the help of other practitioners — many of you right here — and by diving in headfirst, I found hope again. You helped me learn what to do in real, practical application.

Why Rooted Vitality exists

Rooted Vitality exists to help people like me find you — the practitioners who know how to support the body into a state where it can recover and heal itself.

I deeply wish something like Rooted Vitality had existed when I was sick. A place I could trust. A place that offered direction instead of confusion.

My mission

My mission is simple: I want everyone to be able to find you when they need you.

That’s why I’m still here — balancing my own healing, honoring my body, and building this platform for the world. I hope you join me when you need support.

And honestly, I hope that one day you don’t need me anymore — because you’re so fully booked by your regulars that you aren’t taking new clients.

I look forward to bridging the gap.
