Client Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Rooted Vitality community! These Community Guidelines outline the expectations for respectful interactions when using our platform to connect with wellness practitioners. We're committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued.

By using the Rooted Vitality platform, you agree to follow these guidelines in your interactions with practitioners and other community members.

1. Be Kind and Respectful

Treat practitioners and fellow community members with kindness and respect. Simple things like:

  • Using courteous language in all communications
  • Being respectful of different beliefs and backgrounds
  • Understanding that practitioners are trained professionals
  • Being patient and kind in your interactions

2. Be Honest

Honesty helps practitioners provide you with the best service. Please:

  • Share accurate information about your health conditions and concerns
  • Disclose medications or health issues relevant to the services you're seeking
  • Ask questions if you don't understand something
  • Provide honest feedback about your experience

3. Fair Payment

Practitioners deserve to be fairly compensated for their work. Please:

  • Pay practitioners according to the agreed-upon rates
  • Pay promptly for services received
  • Understand the pricing and terms before booking
  • Only dispute charges if there's a genuine issue with the service

4. Respect Practitioners' Time

Practitioners value your time and respect is mutual:

  • Try to arrive on time for appointments
  • Give advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
  • Respect the practitioner's working hours and availability
  • Understand that the relationship is professional

5. Use the Platform Respectfully

5.1 Kind Communication

When messaging practitioners, please:

  • Use respectful, appropriate language
  • Avoid spam or excessive messaging
  • Keep conversations on the platform (especially for initial contact)

5.2 Honest Reviews

If you leave a review:

  • Share your genuine experience
  • Be fair and constructive in your feedback
  • Focus on the service you received

6. Health and Wellness

Your health and safety matter to us. Please remember:

  • Wellness services complement professional medical care, not replace it
  • Results vary from person to person
  • Tell your practitioner about health conditions or medications that matter
  • Let them know immediately if something doesn't feel right
  • See a doctor for medical concerns

7. Privacy and Respect

We take privacy seriously. Please:

  • Respect practitioners' privacy outside the platform
  • Don't share their personal information without permission
  • Understand that your health information is kept confidential

8. What We Won't Tolerate

To keep our community safe and welcoming for everyone, we don't allow:

  • Harassment or bullying of practitioners or other members
  • Abusive or threatening language
  • Sexual harassment or inappropriate advances
  • Dishonest behavior (like false reviews or fraud)
  • Misuse of the platform (like scraping data or hacking attempts)

If you see something that concerns you, please let us know.

9. If There's an Issue

If something goes wrong:

  • Try to work it out directly with the practitioner first
  • Contact our support team if you need help
  • We'll work with you to find a fair solution

10. Community Accountability

If someone violates these guidelines, we may:

  • Talk with them about the issue
  • Suspend their account temporarily
  • Remove them from the community if needed

We always try to be fair and give people a chance to do better.

11. Building a Better Community

We're all in this together. You can help by:

  • Being respectful and kind to everyone
  • Supporting fellow community members
  • Reporting anything concerning to our support team
  • Leaving honest, constructive feedback

12. Updates to These Guidelines

We may update these guidelines from time to time. If we make big changes, we'll let you know.

13. Governing Law

This Code of Conduct is governed by the laws of the State of Utah and shall be construed in accordance with the terms of the Platform's Terms of Use.
