Understanding New Matches

When a client sends a match request to you, it means they're interested in working with you and what you offer. A new entry appears on your Clients page where you can review the request details and decide whether you're the right fit for them.

What You'll See

Each new match shows you information about the client's request—what they're looking for, their preferences, and relevant details about their needs. This gives you a chance to thoughtfully consider whether you're available and whether you feel like a good match for their situation.

Accepting and Declining Matches

You have the freedom to accept or decline any match. We encourage you to choose thoughtfully based on your availability and whether you feel like the right practitioner for this client.

If You Decline

If you're not available or don't feel like a good fit, you can decline the match. The request will move to your inbox archive, and the client will receive a notification letting them know you weren't available. No explanations needed—sometimes the timing or fit just isn't right, and that's perfectly okay.

If You Accept

When you accept a match, it moves to your inbox in the new messages tab. You'll now have access to the client's full wellness profile, contact information, and the ability to communicate with them directly through our built-in messenger. This is where your real conversation begins.

After Acceptance: Direct Communication

Once you've accepted a match, everything that follows happens between you and the client. You're each responsible for your own interactions, and we encourage professionalism and thoughtful communication at every step.

Stay Safe and Professional

We encourage you to follow safe hiring practices as you get to know each other and discuss what working together might look like. Trust your instincts, ask questions, and communicate clearly about expectations. The relationship you build from that first message sets the tone for everything that comes after.

No Obligation on Either Side

It's important to know that accepting a match doesn't create an obligation for either of you. Clients are never obligated to hire a practitioner, and practitioners are never obligated to work with a client. If you change your mind about an accepted match at any point, you can decline it later from the match card menu in your inbox. It's always okay to recognize when something isn't the right fit.
