Understanding Travel Types

Your travel and service area settings tell clients how you prefer to work and where you're available. From your Match Settings, navigate to the Coverage tab to set this up. You can offer one, two, or all three travel types—choose what works for your practice.

The Three Travel Options

In-Office: Clients come to your location. Housecalls: You travel to clients' homes or preferred locations. Virtual/Remote: Sessions happen online. Many practitioners offer a combination of these to give clients flexibility.

Configuring Your Coverage

Each travel type has flexible options to match how you work. We suggest choosing the approach that feels most natural for your practice.

In-Office and Housecalls

For both options, you can choose between two approaches: Option A uses a simple radius tool—select a base zipcode and the distance you're willing to travel, and we'll map the coverage area for you. Option B lets you get specific—manually add individual zipcodes, or import a CSV file if you have a list. Choose whichever approach matches how you think about your service area.

Virtual/Remote

For virtual sessions, you can offer nationwide coverage (available in all states except New York), or select specific states where you'd like to work. Pick whichever option feels right for your practice and any licensing considerations you might have. Please note that coverage is not available in New York state at this time.
